Hickman Bridge, a natural sandstone arch in Capital Reef National Park formed over time as a result of erosion and other factors. Much larger than it appears in these images.
The hiking trail to the bridge loop is well marked. It starts from one of the parking lots along Route 24, and is about a mile one-way, rising in elevation about 500 feet. The hike is only moderately strenuous, but well worth the effort. Nikon D700 and Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8G lens at 24mm FX. September 28, 2012.
